VIRTUAL TRIATHLON 101
ABOUT THE #DREAMINGSEASON TIME TO TRI VIRTUAL TRIATHLON
The #DreamingSeason Time to Tri Virtual Triathlon is an entirely online swim, bike and run event that allows for anyone, with any level of experience, to be a triathlete on their own time at their own pace.
You have the convenience to seamlessly sync your workout devices to the #DreamingSeason Time to Tri Virtual Triathlon results and leaderboard and compare results as you swim, bike and run the distance of a sprint triathlon on your own schedule anywhere in the world — indoors or outside.
Do the legs all at once like a traditional triathlon or break them up individually. The beauty of a virtual triathlon is the flexibility. If you have ever been interested in competing in a triathlon but have yet to race in an event the time is now!
This virtual triathlon is free for participants!
You’ll need a GPS-enabled device, phone or smartwatch to record your workout. Basic swim, bike and run gear or access to a stationary bike, pool or treadmill is all you really need to participate. Visit this page to learn more about triathlon equipment. You can link compatible devices to your Time to Tri Virtual Triathlon profile and it will track and upload for you. The platform supports Apple Health, Fitbit, MapMyFitness, Strava, Suunto, Google Fit, Polar, RunKeeper, Misfit, and Garmin apps devices!

When using a GPS tracking device, your results are uploaded to FitRankings every-time you sync your device with its respective app. For instance, when you sync your Garmin with the Garmin Connect app, all workouts from your Garmin will be uploaded automatically. Note that you must have previously connected each device you track workouts on to FitRankings for this to occur.
For the Sprint Distance Challenge you will need to complete the following distances: Swim 500 meters (0.31 miles), Bike 20 kilometers (12.5 miles), Run 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
